beyerdynamic introduces free Headphone Lab plugin at NAMM 2026

beyerdynamic released Headphone Lab, a free VST3/AU/AAX plugin for macOS/Windows that calibrates DT-series studio headphones to a reference profile and adds realistic studio/speaker simulation. Aimed at accurate mixing/mastering in untreated rooms, it supports standard calibration for all DT models and factory calibration for select models (DT 700/900 Pro X, DT 1770/1990 Pro MK II). Useful for game audio mixing and sound design monitoring workflows; showcased at NAMM 2026.
