Free Envion Deepscan turns your hard drive's lost files into a soundscape - CDM Create Digital Music

Envion Deepscan is a free, open-source module for Envion (Pure Data/PlugData-based) that locally scans your drive to resurface forgotten audio files and feeds them into Envion’s routing/processing (granular, tape-echo, saturation, etc.). It’s cross-platform (iOS, Linux, macOS, Windows) and encourages an algorithmic, curatorial approach to found sound. For game audio, it’s a handy way to mine unique textures, one-shots, and ambiences from existing material and quickly iterate inside DAWs like Reaper/Ableton/Logic while keeping everything offline.
