Laurie Spiegel's Music Mouse, the Mac's first instrument, in Eventide reboot - CDM Create Digital Music

Eventide is collaborating with Laurie Spiegel to bring her pioneering 1986 algorithmic composition instrument, Music Mouse, to modern computers, announced at NAMM 2026. The reboot preserves the original’s interactive, generative approach to harmony and composition. While not game-specific, its algorithmic/interactive design is directly relevant to game composers and sound designers exploring generative and adaptive music workflows.
