Sega Sues Guy Who Uploaded Game Soundtracks To Spotify Before They Did
Sega has filed a lawsuit against an individual who used DistroKid to upload and monetize unauthorized Persona 3 Reload and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey soundtracks on major streaming platforms before any official release. The case highlights rights, distribution, and DMCA issues around game music and platforms like Spotify/Apple, with Sega seeking at least $60,000 in damages for copyright and trademark infringement.
