This clever little touch board can turn fruit, spoons and even pencil drawings into MIDI controllers

SPOKE is an open-source RP2040-based capacitive touch board that turns conductive objects (fruit, metal, graphite drawings) into plug-and-play MIDI controllers, and can also act as OSC/HID/serial. With 27 touch inputs, polyphonic MIDI, CircuitPython, and browser-based tools, it’s well-suited for prototyping custom game-audio controllers, triggering samples, and interactive installations. Includes a smaller SPOKE-mini version; useful for sound designers and audio programmers working in games.
